"But whatever was to my profit
I now consider loss for the
sake of Christ. What is more,
I consider everything a loss
compared to the surpassing
greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my LORD, for whose sake
I have lost all things."
Philippians 3:7-8
Karen, I never heard this music before, but I just went to iTunes and downloaded some more of their songs. Thanks for posting this, I love inspiring music.
Selah is my favorite! They were originally a brother, his sister, and the pianist who started the group. They spent their early lives in Africa with their parents and grandparents who were missionaries there. A lot of their music has African influence. A couple of years ago, the sister left to start a family and they replaced her with another woman. This particular song is not sung by either. It's from the original artist with Selah backup. I hope you enjoy them as much as Steve and I do - we have all their albums!
